Creating an Auto Attendant
- Click on Auto Attendant Icon
- Give name
- Add extension AA will be (500-599 excluding 511)
- If multiple locations, assign a site name
- Select default for Time Frame
- Add
- If you want a greeting before your AA greeting, click manage and add that greeting here
- Click on pencil under Menu Prompt
- Click which one applies under new greeting
- If Text-to-Speech: under Message, type the message you want people to hear when creating this AA
- Select which voice you want
- Name this AA
- Click on button you want customer to press and select option you want customer to do (ex. If your AA says press one for sales, click on the number 1, under Choose a New Application, you will select Choose Call Queue option, enter Sales, or sales extension)
- Fill in option you choose under Announcement for callers
- Caller ID Prefix, will let you know where call came from (ex. If they pressed one for sales, when call comes to your phone it will say Sales- before number calling in)
- Save
